Embedded SW Developer

The local development center of a leading international engineering company requires candidates for the position of Embedded SW Developer.

Job description:

  • Working as part of a multinational team you will be working on a range of projects including engine management systems and software for embedded microcontrollers. Your everyday duties will include:
  • - Software specification, coding, testing and documentation
  • - Architectural design of software
  • - Integration of control algorithms with low level software
  • - Integration testing including HW and SW integration
  • - Software release and maintenance


  • - At least degree level in an Electronics related field. (Preferably with focus on Control Systems, automation, real-time simulation)
  • - Software related development and industrial experience
  • - Knowledge of C is essential, preferably in embedded control systems
  • - Experience in requirements management and software architecture design for embedded systems
  • - A working knowledge of ISO 26262 or similar, including application to high-integrity software
  • - English communication skills both written and verbal, Czech is an advantage (Permanent residency in CZ or EU required for non-Czechs.)
  • The following skills would be advantageous:
  • - An understanding of automotive, aerospace or transportation technology
  • - Experience of unit testing (module / component testing)
  • -Ability to understand electronic design schematics
  • - Experience with functional testing & integration
  • - Model Based Design concepts & tools
  • - Knowledge of automotive technologies, standards and protocols such as CAN, AUTOSAR, J1939, ISO 14229
