SW Programmer in Test Team

A leading international IT firm developing complex SW solutions requires suitable candidates for the position of SW Developers in testing team for their Prague based development group. There are presently opportunities for SW test automation engineers interested in SW development as well as Junior Developers interested in working in a SW testing team.

Position summary:

  • QE Analysts hold the ultimate responsibility for the success of a quality release though multiple phases of delivery. They design, develop, execute test plans and develop SW for all components of a product to ensure the delivery of quality software products that meet customer specifications. Technical Analysts conduct field analysis of deployed software performance, ensuring issues are identified and resolved. Key areas of focus include:
  • · Designs, modifies, implements, and documents functional and performance tests
  • · Designs, modifies, implements, and documents mocks of integrated applications
  • · Ensures interoperability with third party products, operating systems, and existing software
  • · Report and manage defects, verify their correction
  • · Set up and maintain test environments
  • · Provides technical and non-technical presentations on the test designs and results

Requirements

  • - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, or technical education with equivalent experience.
  • - Strong understanding of programming principals and knowledge of SQL is essential
  • - Knowledge of fundamental theories, concepts, practices and procedures typically associated with Quality Assurance
  • - Good TypeScript knowledge is essential with experience of SW development (C#, Java or Python)
  • - Experience with system administration (Windows Server ecosystem) - managing and working with several virtualized environments would be an advantage
  • - Ideally candidates should have at least a year of SW development or test automation experience
  • - Public cloud experience (Azure / GCP) as well as Docker is an advantage
  • - Active English is essential, Czech is not required
  • - EU, permanent residency or valid work visa required
