Java/Android Software Engineer
A dynamic US software firm requires an SW engineer experienced with Java and Android development to be part of their Prague based Cloud Integrations team building real-time, even-driven models at scale. There are opportunities for intermediate as well as senior SW developers.
Responsibilities:
- Candidate for this position will be responsible for building cloud-native, API-first, and stream processing enabled solutions.
- - Collaborate with other developers to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance new software solutions
- - Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and testing
- - Communicate with product owners, customers, and business stakeholders concerning the team’s work
Requirements
- - University degree is preferred or technical education with relevant experience
- - Strong background in OOP
- - 2+ years experience with Java SW development
- - Experience with Android development
- - Good English - all team communication is in English
- - EU, permanent residency or valid work visa but Czech not required
- Other useful skills include:
- - Experience with agile concepts, especially Scrum
- - Experience creating solutions in native public cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure)
- - Experience with SQL and C++ or C# is an advantage
